How to Get Around
The “tip Only” free shuttle is an open-air golf cart service that will take you to grocery shop at the neighborhood Piggly Wiggly, Jamaican Me Crazy, Steamers, Rita’s Italian Ice, and dozens of other fun places in and around Coligny Plaza. Even as a full-time resident, the shuttle makes shopping a breeze.
Or you may go by car or bicycle. Biking along the 12-mile coast is a popular option, and there are many bike rental choices with delivery and pick-up. Also unique to Hilton Head are the 50 miles of bike paths that will wind you through the island’s many areas and parks.
